Can I get some weight loose advice?

jeremiahs gal asked:

Okay, here’s the thing. I’m 20 years old, 5′ 7 and weight 180. I’m about 20 pounds over weight. I’m getting married on Oct. 20, 2007 and I’m looking to change a few physical things about me before then. I’ve been working out (Bridal Workout I got on Ebay) and walking for 30 minutes every night. I’ve been trying to cut back on what I eat but I’m really not seeing any progress. Am I doing something wrong? Am I eating the wrong things? Could anyone give me some advice on what I could do? Thanks so much.

    Lose weight, Lose Fat

Not drinking enough water causes you to retain water and look
    fatter than you actually are.

    * Being thirsty causes you to feel fake hunger and eat more.

    * Drinking water aids digestion and the fat burning process.

    * Drinking water helps you to flush fat out of your body.

    * Drinking water helps to remove toxins from your body and keep it clean and healthy.

    Need to lose weight?

i was in pretty much the same situation. The hardest thing about loosing weight is that it takes time and it can be hard to notice results.

My advice is to look at the foods you are eating. Are they healthy? fruits, vegetables, lean meats. It’s good to cut back but if you are still eating unhealthy foods it’s isn’t gonig to make much of a difference.

When i started, i weighed myself once a week at the same time of day. Best time to wheigh yourself is after you gett out of bed & go to the bathroom but before you eat. Do this everyweek so you can mark your progress. You typically don’t see (visually) the progress you’ve made but if you record it you can track it.

if that doesn’t work, consult a professional

New Weight Loss Ebook – Free!

see,i wont advice to change your diet to fresh vegetables,peas,…..coz this won`t help you to your expectations.i advice you to go for some sports like basketball where you need to involve physically all the time.plus,…i advice you to go for sports or exercise just when you feel hungry.now after your sports what you do is take something really sweet or chilli that will make you feel full even you take it too little.but yes this doesn`t mean that you don`t take food even when you feel weak.have a diet little below to the normal diet and exercise more and yes take plenty of water.this should and will help you.

    Slim down – remove fat

Eat only when you’re truly hungry, several times a day. Think more like five or six small meals daily, so your metabolism doesn’t sink and your blood sugar stays steadier.

Eat very slowly. It takes your brain about 20 minutes to realize when the stomach is full.

Eat meals about the size of a loosely closed fist which is the natural and unstretched size of a stomach. If you’re eating out, eat only half of your food, and take home the other half.

Drink a glass of water a few minutes before eating, and reconsider your hunger state. A lot of hunger pangs are actually your body asking for water. Drink tons of water, no less than a half gallon a day (shoot for a full gallon). Your body must be well-hydrated in order to metabolize body fat.

Do not drink sodas! Your body has a harder time metabolizing high fructose corn syrup (it’s everywhere – look for it in anything sweet, and even things such as spaghetti sauce), so it’s calories are more likely to be stored as fat.

Do cardio, brisk walking (be sure to break a sweat) for example, for at least 30 minutes a day. Be sure to do some strength training, because you want to gain muscle which increases your basal metabolic rate.

Seriously, follow these instructions, and you will look INCREDIBLE well before then.

    Lose weight fast

Check out the SACRED HEART diet. Is healthy & you will loose weight very quickly, but watch it when you start eating normal again, it can come back on pretty quickly. I would suggest doing mild workouts on it since your body won’t be getting as many carbs as it probably is now. SOUTH BEACH works, but I got a bit cranky since I couldn’t eat some of my fav foods. Instead try an egg & protein breakfast (lean ham, turkey, canadian bacon, or spoonful of peanut butter). A healthy mid morning snack (nuts, fruit, or TLC granola bar), SlimFast or Special K for lunch (love the Vanilla Almond), healthy afternoon snack, and a sensible dinner, and if you want, an evening snack. Or switch the lunch & dinner. Drink LOTS of water & cut out sodas & sugary drinks. If you need a caffine fix in the morning, try Sugar Free Red Bull. I have lots 8 pounds in about 4 weeks doing this, don’t feel starved and am still able to eat things I like for 1 meal a day. Trust me, my weakness is carbs!!! And this isn’t necessarily healthy, but when you wedding gets closer, you will be stressed out and will loose a bit then, too. I went through the same thing about 2 years ago. Remember, you don’t want to loose to much, you want the dress to still fit you, too! Good luck & congratulations!

Another good thing is to keep a food diary, and be honest. Keep track of everything that you eat & drink – even mark the “bad” stuff, when you exercise, & your weekly weight. It helps you realize your real food habits.
